The Silent Bloom

This piece explores the quiet tension between nature and the world built around it. At its centre, an anthurium stands held within rusted wire, fragments of metal and charred wood. The materials are deliberate. They speak of pressure, interference and human presence. Yet the flower remains upright. Alive. Unapologetic. Nothing here is decorative by accident. The contrast between softness and weight is intentional. It reflects how nature continues to exist, even when constrained, altered or pushed aside. The Silent Bloom is not meant to please at first glance. It is meant to pause you. To invite reflection. To remind us that growth often happens under resistance, not comfort. Created at Love Sprouts in Fraserburgh as a one off sculptural arrangement.
